Horsburgh Happenings

Haven was born October 5, 2007 at 9:22 PM. She was a mere 7 lbs. 7 oz. my first average weight child, lets just hope that she's not born with the feline finickiness of her sisters (yes I just made up that word!) and maintains an average girth! It was a blissful, drug-induced birthing experience -except when Jeff would try to trick me into closing my eyes for relaxation purposes just so he could check the score of the Yankees! I had to experience just once what people meant when they said they were chatting, watching movies, napping, etc... during labor- it's actually true! I was even coherent enough to constantly try to bribe anyone that walked in to get me a snickers. She is an absolute angel, who sleeps like babies are supposed to, is delightful and alert when she's awake, and just exudes peace, love, and serenity. Morgan and Kaitlyn can't get enough of her either, always wanting to hug, hold, feed, and kiss her. We're all in love with this little slice of heaven, and fortunately for me she's a bald beauty so it prolongs the agony of one more head of hair to stress over in the morning!
