Jeff and I took the kids to Bear Lake this weekend for the annual cisco disco, and Jeff and Karly drove up with the Trey and Addie to brave the frozen oasis with us. Cisco are fish like anchovies endemic to Bear Lake that spawn for 2 weeks this time of year. The kids only lasted about 10 minutes on the ice because we arrived a little late for good cisco dipping, so we opted to stay in the van and watch Monsters, Inc., eat scones and drink hot chocolate while the Jeffs froze for the next hour trying to catch a few for their fishing adventure later that day (Jeffery caught a massive Lake Trout and finally has a picture to prove it). Then Karly and I took the kids to the pool where they pretty much stayed the rest of the day.
Jeff's dream fish with a belly full of Cisco!
