We started out in San Diego enjoying the perfect weather, beaches and food for a few blissful days.
We got to spend some time where Rachel lives right by our favorite beach and meditation gardens. Also hanging out with my roommate from college and her little girl that quickly made best friends with my girls.
We splurged for Morgan's birthday at Goofey's Kitchen where they got to interact with many of the Disney characters who would play with them, then all of the kids in the restaurant who break into dancing with Goofey with kitchen utensils as their instruments. (All Kaitlyn ate from the great buffet was 2 bites of watermelon and an ice cream cone- at $20/child that's pretty pricey for eating nothing, but still very worth the fun).
Disneyland was a dream come true-by the time we actually made it there each day- it was Jeff's first time so I think he dragged the kids on some rides with him multiple times as an excuse to enjoy them himself (and improve his Buzz Lightyear score!)
