Sweet Sorrow

My grandma, Marva Weaver, passed away after a valiant battle to recover after her 'wheelchair accident'. My grandma was the life of every party, she could find some connection or relation to almost everyone she met around the country, she was witty, kind, and instilled in us a love for adventure and travel. It was a beautiful funeral, both spiritual and humorous, and so great seeing family friends and relatives, especially Wayne's boys Tyler, Coleman and Wade (below).
I miss you "Marvalous"!

Everyone knew about her love of Coke and her vast collection of all things Coca Cola, she wanted her tombstone to read 'Gone for a Coke' like this picture below!

All of my beautiful cousins and funniest people I know!

My grandpa got his way and buried my grandma in Weston, Idaho where he grew up.

My girls waiting for the burial (a couple days after the funeral)

My grandpa was very courageous and shared tender moments he had with my grandma, like sleeping on the hospital floor the night before she passed and holding his sweethearts hand through the night.

What a great legacy. I love our grandparents generation- they truly are one of the best. So happy you got to have your grandma around for such a long part of you life. Grandparents (good ones) are such a gift.
